OFFICIAL MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 4, 2024 AULT TOWN BOARD MEETING

David called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Board members present were David Houle, Brenda Schnurrer and Linda Van Kekerix. Treasurer Patricia Hondl and Clerk Lorrie Houle were also present.

 

Following the Pledge to the flag, David called for a motion to accept the minutes, previously viewed by the supervisors via email. Motion made by Brenda.  Second by David. Motion carried.

 

David called for the financial report. Pat gave the following… There were 20 claims totaling a disbursement of $5345.02. There were 3 receipts totaling $19,676.79.  Brenda moved to accept the report.  Linda second. Motion carried.   Pat also advised there was an issue with the CD at NSFCU, but that they have corrected it.  The date on it will now be September.

 

Claims were reviewed. Motion made by David.  Second by Brenda to approve all claims. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS: - Cemetery Regulations were gone over.  These will be forwarded on to Madeline Cash for her opinion.

             -       Dave Kohne will not make it here tonight.

             -       Deb Pomroy sent an update. She will be doing a final report for us at the next meeting.

             -       Thank you received from the Food Shelf

 

PUBLIC COMMENT:  None

 

NEW BUSINESS:  - We will need to change our Website to .gov by the year 2026.

                -      A letter was signed for St Louis County to Secretary Buttigieg in support of their funding request for bridges.

                -      Permission was given to Frontier to work on the S Loop and N Loop Roads.

                -      District 10 Meeting was attended by David, Lorrie, Brenda and Linda. 

 

ROAD REPORT:  -    Kevin will be contacted to do work on the corner of Elo Rd and Camp House Rd.  St Louis        

 County requesting this so they can plow. 

 

CEMETERY REPORT:   New Regulations were gone over.   

 

Any Other Business: 

 

PAY CLAIMS: The previously approved claims were paid.

 

ADJOURN:  Brenda moved to adjourn, second by Linda. Meeting adjourned at 7:29 pm.

 

                                      The next regular business meeting will be held on October 2nd, 2024 at 7PM.
